US Petro Merchants: Admin settings - Mandatory Prompt Fields

We updated the settings form when adding a new reward to ensure that the fields "short cashier prompt" & "long cashier prompt" are mandatory.  Previous to this update, if these were not filled out, the clerk at the c-store would conduct the transaction and a blank box would appear with no command prompts.  This was causing confusion for both the customer and the clerk at the point of transaction.

Now that this is a mandatory field, the prompt box will instruct the clerk on the available actions they have the power to take. 

The example is before the changes were made.  The word "optional" has been removed and the form cannot be completed and saved until these fields are filled in.

US Petro: Receipt Issues: Suspended Clubs

There were support requests related to suspended clubs showing up on receipts.  This issue was a bug and has been fixed. You will no longer see suspended clubs displayed on customer receipts.

 

Giftfly Merchants: Enhanced self-serve eGift card management for customers.

This is a feature enhancement that allows Giftfly.ca merchants the ability to edit, resend and download their customer's eGiftcard purchases.  Prior to this update, Giftfly end users were contacting Ackroo support to help rectify issues such as: wrong email address in the send field, and missing eGiftcards.

Merchants are now able to self-manage these customer inquiries.  

Navigate to the performance tab on the left console menu.  Locate the card in question. From there you will be presented with several options as shown below.

If you click on the gift card code, a modal window will open where you will be able to download the card as a pdf.  That way you c an send it to the customer in question if needed. Module pictured below:

MySQL8 Upgrade: Giftfly.ca

We recently upgraded to MySQL8 for Giftfly.ca.  This was a mandatory requirement standard set out by AWS to maintain best practice, pricing and service. 

 

Ackroo Console: Advanced feature flagging

Our team has been working on separating out legacy features that are segment/subscription specific to enhance and simplify the overall UI.  You will notice some changes in the Ackroo console over the next two months.  We will update you on any changes to the UI that may affect your program. The team has started with some advanced loyalty feature flagging, This is only relevant to US & CAD Petro merchants.  

 

Marketing Hub: 

User Permissions

A new setting has been added for program administrators.  There is now a self-serve capability which allows you to assign who will have access to your marketing hub within your organization.  The user must be associated to your program (see the USERS tab in the Ackroo console).  If the user has been given access to the Marketing Hub by and admin, they will now see "Marketing Hub" listed in the drop-down of the Marketing heading in the Ackro console.

If the user has not been granted access, they will not see this option.

In order to allow a user to have access, the admin must "edit" an existing user, or create a new user in the USER menu in the Ackroo Console.

The Admin simply checks the "Marketing Hub Access" box for the user and they will have access to the hub.

 

SMS Reporting

Our team has added a basic reporting capability for SMS campaigns in the Marketing Hub.  You can view the SMS report by navigating to the "reporting" menu.

Then navigate to the SMS tab on the left. Once your campaign is located, click "view report".

Email Reporting

We did some work on the existing email reporting. It was reported that merchants were seeing values that were incorrect according to their campaign data.  All data should be accurate on this page:

Please Note: We disabled the ability to click through the open, clicked, bounced and unsubscribed columns to see a list of customers.  Our MVP was to ensure the numerical data was correct.  At a future date we will be adding back in the list capability.
