Issue:
We’ve received inquiries from merchants about club punches not being applied when members make eligible purchases. While we were unable to replicate the issue, we recognized an opportunity to enhance control and flexibility for merchants.
Solution:
Now, program administrators can manually add club punches to member club cards anytime, 24/7.
This enhancement ensures merchants have greater control over their loyalty program, reducing reliance on support while keeping members satisfied.
Issue:
Members were finding it difficult to find the deals that matter most to them in the mobile app.
Solution:
To improve the member experience in the mobile app, we’ve introduced discount groups to help categorize discount offers.
At this time, group positions are static and cannot be reordered. If you have feedback or suggestions, we’d love to hear from you! Please email us at product@ackroo.com.
Additionally, when creating a discount, selecting a discount group is now a required step. This ensures all offers are properly categorized, making them easier for members to browse and redeem.
This update helps streamline the discount discovery process, creating a smoother and more efficient experience for members.
Please note: Our team is working on backfilling all discount groups for discounts that were created before this release. Please check your discounts to ensure they are categorized correctly.
A column has been added to the discount summary screen for quick view:
Members will see these categories in the offers section of the updated UI in the US Petro mobile app. The member can swipe up for additional groups. Example UI:
Please note, that not all US Petro apps will have this update immediately in the UI. We are working on a reskin of the app in 2 phases.
Issue:
Clerks are seeing blank boxes with a "yes" or "no" action button and have no idea what they mean.
Solution:
To ensure smooth loyalty program redemptions, we’ve made the Long Cashier Prompt and Short Cashier Prompt mandatory fields when creating a new rewards form.
Previously, if these fields were left blank, clerks would see a generic "Yes" or "No" prompt on their POS screen without any context, leading to confusion during transactions. Now, with these prompts required, clerks will have clear, actionable instructions displayed, improving the redemption process and reducing errors.
