Setup Bambora Wordline to use with egift and steps to enable 3DS2.
Before you can start accepting payment for eGift cards purchased using your eGift portal, you need to set up a payment processor to handle your transactions.
This guide will show you what is needed from your Worldline account in order to get started. You can access Worldine's website:
- CAD Merchant Account + Gateway (No setup or monthly fees, $0.25 per transaction + 2.90% MDR (2.95% Amex)): If you are in Canada and want to set up both a merchant account with Worldline and the payment processing gateway needed for Ackroo, click here .
- USD Merchant Account + Gateway (No setup or monthly fees, $0.25 per transaction + 2.90% MDR): If you are in the United States and want to set up both a merchant account with Worldline and the payment processing gateway needed for Ackroo, click here.
- CAD Gateway ($50 one-time setup, $15 monthly, $0.15 per transaction): If you are in Canada and want only the payment processing gateway needed for Ackroo, click here.
- Canadian Merchant processing in USD ($0.25 per transaction + 2.95% MDR): If you are a Canadian Merchant, but process only in US dollars, click here .

Ask Worldline/Bambora for your merchant ID. To obtain the correct API Access Passcode needed to link your Worldline account/Bambora account to Ackroo once logged in, follow these steps:
- Go to Administration > Account Settings > Order Settings
- Under Security/Authorization, select Generate New Code then copy that code to your clipboard or save it so you can share it with Ackroo. Note: if you already have an existing account, and are providing the API to Ackroo for verification or troubleshooting technical issues, simply provide Ackroo with the existing API access passcode.
- Press Update at the bottom of the page before leaving to save this API key.
IMPORTANT: Within the Bambora/Worldline portal, you have two API tokens. For any purpose related to your Ackroo eGift portal, please ensure you are following the steps outlined above as using any other API token will NOT work for your eGift portal.
Enabling 3DS2 in Bambora
Enabling 3DS2 is a multi-step process. To enable 3DS2 for bambora in Ackroo, merchant must create a request with Ackroo production support to set it in the backend.
Merchant must also contact their bambora support team and payment processor to setup their accounts to work with 3DS2. If any one of aren't setup, then payments will fail and checkout process in Ackroo egift portal will not work.
Until advised by Bambora team, when integrating with 3D Secure, merchant need to ensure that the redirect rules are set to "allow any domain name" within the order settings page.
