Performing a Single or Bulk Action on Cards (VIDEO)

 

 

To perform an action on a card(s), visit https://manage.ackroo.com and sign in, then select Manage Cards.

NOTE: Some operations may or may not be available, depending on the user's permission level.

SINGLE ACTION vs. BULK ACTION

  • The ACTION tool allows you to perform a specific operation on a single card.
    • Quickly locate a card by typing any piece of information you know about the card into the Search field including;
      • Card number or Batch/Ackroo ID
      • Customer name (if registered)
      • Customer email (if registered)
  • The BULK ACTION tool allows you to filter and isolate multiple cards at once and perform a specific operation to the group. 
    • NOTE: In order to use the bulk action, you first need to Filter Your Cards
    • Once you've filtered your cards, select the BULK ACTION button and select the action you wish to apply to your list of cards.

CHANGE THE STATUS OF A CARD:

  • Issue Cards - Activate cards for use
  • Unissue Cards - Deactivate with a "Card not issued" response when attempted for use
  • Block Cards - Deactivate with a "Card Blocked" response when attempted for use
  • Unblock Cards - Reactivate for use

ADD FUNDS:

  • Issue Gift - Activate and add funds simultaneously (card must be unissued and never used)
  • Fund Gift - Add/Reload GIFT funds on an already-issued card (must be in issued status)
  • Fund Promotion - Add PROMO funds on an already-issued card (must be in issued status)
  • Fund Units - Add a UNIT on an already-issued card (must be in issued status, and unit must be created first)*

REMOVE PROMO or LOYALTY FUNDS:

  • Clear Loyalty Funds - Clear both earned loyalty and promotional balances
  • Expire Promotions - Clear promotional balances only

EXPORT - Export a CSV file reporting all filtered cards selected. The report will be sent to your email inbox from no-reply@ackroo.com.

Upon choosing an action, a pop-up window will open.

  • If Applying Gift or Promo funds, apply the funds "FROM" Head Office or a physical location and apply the funds "TO" your physical store location, if applicable.
  • Adding a Promotional Tag, Description or Expiration Date (if applicable) are all optional.
  • For all Transaction-related actions done in BULK, a Red Banner will display a warning to indicate the # of cards which will be affected by this action -- Beside the * field, confirm and enter the number of affected cards.
  • Check off or leave unchecked the option to be emailed a Transaction Report for this action.

Blocking/Unblocking Cards

In the event that your customers gift/loyalty rewards card has been misplaced or stolen, you can replace the card for them by transferring their balance to a new card and deactivating the old card.

To deactivate a card;

Visit https://manage.ackroo.com and sign in.

    • Click on the Manage Cards tab
    • Quickly locate a card by typing any piece of information you know about the card into the Search field including;
      • Card number
      • Customer name
      • Customer email

Click on the Action button and select Block.  This will render the card inactive and no longer able to process transactions.


To re-activate a card;

Visit https://manage.ackroo.com and sign in.

    • Click on the Manage Cards tab
    • Quickly locate a card by typing any piece of information you know about the card into the Search field including;
      • Card number
      • Customer name
      • Customer email

Click on the Action button and select Unblock.  This will render the card active and able to process transactions.
