Revamp Your Gift & Loyalty Program

If you have a gift card and/or loyalty program, this is the perfect opportunity to try something different which will in turn capture the attention of shoppers.

A change could be as simple as increasing your loyalty percentage for a limited time, or offering a promo card for a certain dollar spent (i.e. buy a $50 gift card get a $5 promo card). Not only are you giving back to your customers but also building that customer base for the months ahead and giving shoppers a reason to come back to your store.

And if you’ve been debating introducing a loyalty program, this is the perfect time to make the launch!

Refresh Your Marketing Material

If you’re going to offer promotions, you want to make sure shoppers walking by know! Change up your marketing material to reflect that warmer and colourful seasons are upon us, and draw the eyes of your customers.

This is also a perfect opportunity to give your gift and loyalty cards a refresh. Holiday themed cards are a hit during December, so why not add some spring to your cards in April? Make your business to stand out from the rest.

Talk to Your Customers

Communicate with your customers – utilize the databases in which you are collecting customer data to keep them informed.

Identify customer groupings to get in touch with based on their birthday month or customers who have not visited or used their rewards for an extended period of time. Or, simply update your customer base regarding your spring promotions!
